Modi Awas Yojana – Other Backward Classes For beneficiaries

Beneficiary:

1. Under this scheme, 60% subsidy is received from the Central Government and 40 % subsidy from the State Government. As per the guidelines of the Central Government, the cost of the houses has been fixed at Rs. 1, 20, 000/- and for very remote , hilly and Naxalite areas it has been fixed at Rs. 1, 30,000/- . An amount of Rs. 1, 20, 000/- is provided as a grant for the construction of a new house. In this, the Central Government's grant share is 60%, while the State Government 's share is 10%. Government subsidy share 40% House amount:- 1,20,000/- The subsidy above can be deposited in the bank account of the beneficiaries through PFMS system. 2. While sanctioning the house, the first installment advance is Rs. 15,000 /-, the second installment is Rs. 45,000/-, the third installment is Rs. 40,000/-, the fourth installment is Rs. 20000/-. 3. The construction of the toilet also has to be completed during the construction of the house .
